You are gift to this generation

You are gift to this generation. Do not die unwrapped, under-utilized or un-utilized.

What if Bill Gates gave up on life because he dropped out of school? We may not have had the Microsoft computers today. In 2010, The Harvard Crimson called Bill Gates “Harvard’s most successful dropout.”

In fifth grade, Ben Carson was at the bottom of his class. His classmates called him “dummy” and he developed a violent, uncontrollable temper. Yet, he still became one of the world’s best neurosurgeon and countless lives have been helped through him.

Every single person on earth is born with potentials, great potentials. You came with a particular solution for the world but if you do not discover and harness your potentials, you could as well pass through the world unnoticed and uncelebrated.

Myles Munroe said that “The wealthiest place in the world is not the gold mines of South America or the oil fields of Iraq or Iran. They are not the diamond mines of South Africa or the banks of the world. The wealthiest place on the planet is just down the road. It is the cemetery. There lie buried companies that were never started, inventions that were never made, bestselling books that were never written, and masterpieces that were never painted. In the cemetery is buried the greatest treasure of untapped potential.”

Are you just existing to added to the lost potentials in the cemetery or are you thinking of making and leaving your footprint on the sands of time?

Say to yourself, “I am valuable. I am a positive addition to this generation and I won’t die unfulfilled.”

Do you believe that statement?

You need to first believe in what you carry on the inside because you are the first prophet of your life. The world may not see it yet. The world may not celebrate it yet because it is raw and unrefined.

Discover it.

Raw gold is not such a beauty in its raw state but when it is purified it comes out beautiful and everyone is clamouring to get a little chunk of it. No wonder, the price is high. It is valuable.

Start with discovery. Who am I? Why am I in this world? What am I here to do? What are my potentials? What can I do well with little or no effort? What inspires me? What are my pains and area of concerns?

If you can answer these 7 questions well then you have a clue as to why you are on earth and what your raw potentials are.

Then it is time to develop them?
